Spring Hydrant Flushing Schedule

Crystal Division

Water mains will be flushed between April 1, 2008 to May 16, 2008 between the hours of 8 a.m. and 2 a.m. in the following water systems:

Brooklyn and Killingly

Gallup (Includes Brookside and Colonial Woods)

Killingly Industrial Park (Includes Attawaugan and Ballouville)

Plainfield Division of Crystal

Thompson Division

Town of Sterling

The flushing procedure ensures cleaner, better tasting water and that all hydrants are in proper working order.  Some water discoloration may take place after hydrant flushing.  By running the tap for a short period of time, discoloration may be eliminated.  Please check the condition of your water before using washing machines, dishwashers or other water-using devices.
