Connecticut Water Receives Boston Club Award

CLINTON, CONNECTICUT – December 20, 2007 – The Boston Club has recognized Connecticut Water Service, Inc., the parent of The Connecticut Water Company, with a Corporate Salute Award, as one of 53 New England public companies with three or more women on its board of directors.  The club is an organization of nearly 600 high-achieving senior executive and professional women whose mission is to promote the professional advancement of women and increase their participation on corporate and non-profit boards.

Connecticut Water has four women serving on its 10-member board of directors, including; Mary Ann Hanley, assistant to the president of St. Francis Hospital & Medical Center; Heather Hunt, an attorney with a regulatory law practice in Stratford, Conn., and a managing member of w. h. Robert & h. f. Hunt, LLC; Lisa Thibdaue, vice president Regulatory and Government Affairs at Northeast Utilities; and Carol P. Wallace, President & CEO of Cooper-Atkins Corporation.
