Connecticut Water Service, Inc. Declares Dividends
Connecticut Water Service, Inc. (NASDAQ-GS: CTWS) today announced that its Board of Directors declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.2375 per common share payable on March 15, 2012, for shareholders of record as of March 1, 2012. This quarterly dividend remains unchanged from the previous quarter and represents an annualized dividend of $0.95 per share. The Company’s annual dividend yield at the stock market closing price on January 26, 2012, was 3.2%. Connecticut Water has paid quarterly dividends on its common stock since its founding in 1956 without interruption or reduction and has increased dividend payments for each of the last 42 years.

Connecticut Water Service, Inc. Completes Acquisition of Aqua Maine, Inc.
Connecticut Water Service, Inc. (NASDAQ: CTWS) (the “Company” or “Connecticut Water”) announced today that it has completed the acquisition of Aqua Maine, Inc., a subsidiary of Aqua America, Inc. (NYSE:WTR). Aqua Maine, which will be renamed The Maine Water Company, serves over 16,000 customers, or a population of 48,000 people in 20 communities in the state of Maine.
