Shenipsit Lake Recreation Program

In cooperation with the Shenipsit Lake Association, Connecticut Water is pleased to offer this recreational fishing and hiking program.

Open to all Connecticut residents, the public is encouraged to take part in the recreation program and enjoy this natural resource.  The program is permitted and approved by the State Department of Public Health.

The fishing program starts annually on the third Saturday in April and ends on October 31 with permitted hours from sunrise to sunset.  The hiking trail is open year round from sunrise to sunset.
