About the Project:
Installation of 2,800 feet water main has been completed. In addition, all of the work water service line work has been completed and all customers are now getting their water from the new main.
Final restoration is being completed.
This project is being done through Connecticut Water’s Water Infrastructure and Conservation Adjustment (WICA). Systematically replacing aging pipes is part of our continuing effort to provide a reliable supply of high quality drinking water and world-class service to customers. This project will help us to conserve water, a precious natural resource, by replacing old pipe that is more likely to leak underground than newer ductile iron pipe. Day time construction can be anticipated.
Connecticut Water will use door tags to directly notify customers that may be affected in the area at least 24 hours in advance if there is any planned disruption in water service.
Water main installation is complete and related service line work has been completed. Restoration of paved and grass areas is underway.
