Connecticut Water Recognized for Community Service and Construction Safety

The Connecticut Construction Industry Association (CCIA) has awarded its prestigious Community Service and Safety awards to Connecticut Water. The Community Service Award recognizes the Company’s emergency potable water program for private well owners. Through the program, Connecticut Water and its employees make potable water available free of charge to private well owners when there are extended power outages in affected nearby communities. Most private well owners have no water when they have no power.

SJW Group and Connecticut Water Continue to Evaluate Regulatory Approach in Connection with Proposed Merger and Withdraw Connecticut PURA Application

SJW Group (NYSE: SJW) (“SJW Group”) and Connecticut Water Service, Inc. (NASDAQ: CTWS) (“Connecticut Water” or “CTWS”) announced today that they are continuing to evaluate their regulatory approach – including the possibility of submitting a new application to the Connecticut Public Utilities Regulatory Authority (“PURA”) – in connection with their proposed merger.  Pending this review, they have withdrawn their current application before PURA.

Connecticut Water Supports Energy Conservation at the Connecticut Cancer Foundation

Connecticut Water Company is proud to announce that it is helping to fund energy conservation projects at Connecticut Cancer Foundation (CCF) through the Connecticut Neighborhood Assistance Act tax credit program. The company’s donation of $2,500 will help fund energy efficiency upgrades to CCF’s Cultural and Operations Center in Old Saybrook.
