Connecticut Water is reminding customers that in accordance with the Public Utilities Regulatory Authority (PURA), COVID-19 Payment Plans, set to expire today, are available until April 20, 2021 or the expiration of the Governor’s declaration of Public Health and Civil Preparedness Emergencies due to the COVID-19 Pandemic – whichever comes last.
After experiencing widespread drought conditions across the state this summer and fall which prompted water conservation requests in many communities, Connecticut Water reports that as of mid-January, each of its surface water sources, or reservoirs, have recovered from 2020’s historic drought conditions.
