PROJECT DETAILS
About the project: Connecticut Water will install about 3,500 feet of 12” ductile iron pipe. This project will increase available water flow to the area and improve system reliability and fire protection. Six new fire hydrants will be installed as part of the project.
Location: Straits Turnpike (State Route 63) from Park Road to State Route 64.
Approximate Start Date: Week of April 18, 2022
Approximate Completion Date: July 31, 2022
Work Hours: 7:30 pm – 5:00 am, Sunday evening to Friday morning
Any planned necessary service interruptions will be communicated directly to impacted customers at least 24 hours prior to the interruption.
